A special thank you…

I really need to acknowledge the amazing understanding and patience shown during the last two weeks. I know I have been gone for a while, and just when things were getting all settled & I was returning to work, I was thrown a curve ball.

My husband was in a motorcycle crash on September 13th. He had some serious injuries, requiring a hospital stay, and will need months of recovery time. He was lucky that his injuries weren’t worse. I am thankful that he had protective gear and friends to help him when it happened, and most importantly, I am thankful God was watching over him that day.

To my portrait clients… I truly appreciate the outpouring of support and well wishes we have received. For those awaiting your proof images, I am working non-stop between caring for my husband. I have no right to ask, but if you could please have just a little more patience, I will be in touch. For those that had sessions cancelled or postponed, I will begin contacting everyone tomorrow (Friday, September 25) to work out details. If you have a time sensitive portrait session (maternity or newborn) please feel free to contact me by email or phone and let me know what date works for you. The sooner, the better!

Again, thank you for being patient and understanding. I am blessed to live in this community and have the support of those around me.

FALL BOOKING SPECIAL!

When I return from my fabulous vacation in America, I want to be busy busy busy!!! School will be starting shortly after I get home so the fall season for family portraits will be in full swing! That is the prime time to get those images for your holiday cards to send to family and friends around the world!

Here’s a little incentive to get on the calendar now! Email before I return on August 22 to schedule your family photo session during September or October and you will receive a 25% discount on custom holiday photo cards. These family photo sessions can be studio style or outdoor at a variety of locations at Yokota Air Base or surrounding parks.

By getting your portraits done early, you can have your cards in plenty of time to beat the holiday mailing rush!

Even photographers take vacations! ;-)

Just a quick note to let everyone know I’m taking a vacation soon! I’m going to visit family and friends in the United States from July 7th till August 22nd. I am very, very excited about my trip! My boys can’t wait to see their grandparents and I’m really looking forward to shopping!

I do have a few openings for sessions during the next week. If you would like to catch me before I travel, give me a call or send an email and I’ll try my very best to accommodate your schedule.

For those already scheduled before the 7th, I will have your proofs ready the day after your completed session. Hopefully this will give you an opportunity to get your portraits ordered before my departure. I wouldn’t want you to wait until I return.

Keep your eyes open for specials posted here… even while I am traveling! I will be updating from the other side of the world!

Scooters, rocks, grass…

I knew exactly how to get to the heart of a 6-year-old boy… lay in the grass, throw rocks, climb on things, let him ride his scooter, make goofy faces… works every time! I had so much fun getting G’s 6-year-old portraits!

We also snuck in some sweet, smiling shots for mom too.

I can’t wait to work with his two sisters for their birthday portraits in the fall… even if G says they are bossy!!

5 pounds of precious!

I was excited to meet Little Miss K… so tiny at a little over 5 pounds!

Her mommy and daddy are obviously smitten!!

The youngest of 3 sisters…

… and she’s got enough spunk for all of them! 

Miss A… wonder what’s going through her mind… or maybe I don’t wanna know! 

I spent today… Mother’s Day… with a great friend & her family at a beautiful Japanese tea house and garden. These three girls are gorgeous and so much fun! I look forward to the rest of the photos… after I spend some time with my own family!!

I have been neglecting my blog for a while. I have been very fortunate to photograph precious babies, fun children and wonderful families over the last few months. I will be sharing images of some of them over the next few days. Take a look below for newly posted photo sneak peeks!

Smiles galore!!

Constant smiles and fun faces… that was 9-month-old “S”. He is such a happy one! 

I was shocked to get one ‘serious’ look out of this little guy! 

His Mommy & Daddy better watch out… he’s mobile!!!

It’s no secret that I have a soft spot for boys…. I have 4 of them after all… but this one was just seriously heart-melting cute!
